What is the best contraceptive to use for the first time sex?

My husband wants to have the first sex without using a condom. So to avoind pregnancy what type of a contraceptive would suit me more.

Also please note that this is the first time that I will be using a contraceptive.

Go to the doctor and get a prescription for birth control pills.
